SANBRA GROUP WAREHOUSE CONVERSION

The Sanbra Group Warehouse to Workplace Conversion project involved transforming a warehouse, formerly part of the Sanbra factory in Santry, into a modern and functional office space. The design focused on creating distinct areas such as a new office zone, a hot desk area, private offices, and dedicated meeting spaces.

Clean lines were at the core of the design, reflecting a contemporary aesthetic. One standout feature is the pink hot desk area, designed to inject personality and align with the brand identity of Flair Showers, a subsidiary of the Sanbra Group.

The private meeting room, the "Press Shop," pays homage to the warehouse's history as an old metal factory, specifically referencing the press shop area where metal shaping activities took place. This naming strategy adds a layer of nostalgia and storytelling to the space.

To enhance privacy, the Instantor logo was used in a pattern as a privacy film on both private offices and meeting spaces. This not only serves a practical purpose but also reinforces brand identity within the workspace.

An integral part of the design was the incorporation of old factory structural steelwork, seamlessly blending the industrial space with its new purpose. This approach bridges the gap between the old and the new, creating a cohesive environment.

Additionally, copper piping was integrated into the design of storage units and bookcases, adding an industrial element while also serving as a nod to the warehouse's past as a manufacturing facility.

Overall, the Sanbra Group Warehouse to Workplace Conversion marries functionality, aesthetics, and brand identity, creating a dynamic workspace that honours the site's history while embracing modern design principles.
