Terms and Conditions for E-Design Service
These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between you (“the Client”) and Anekdote Design (“the Designer”) regarding the E-Design Package. By purchasing this service, you agree to the following terms:
1. Service Overview
1.1. The E-Design Package is a virtual interior design service offered remotely, providing the Client with:
A bespoke design concept, including a mood board and sample board.
A colour palette with specific paint names and finishes.
A curated shopping list with furniture, and decor from online and local suppliers.
An optional layout plan (add-on) based on a to-scale floor plan supplied by the Client.
1.2. This service does not include in-person consultations, physical site visits, or project management.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1. Full payment is required to secure the service.
2.2. Payment is non-refundable once the design process has commenced.

3. Design Process
3.1. Following payment, the Client will receive a design questionnaire to complete, along with instructions for providing photographs and measurements of the space.
3.2. The Designer will develop and deliver the bespoke design concept based on the Client’s input.
4. Responsibilities
Client Responsibilities:
4.1. Provide accurate measurements, photographs, and all required information via the design questionnaire.
4.2. Communicate any specific needs, preferences, or constraints during the design process.
4.3. Purchase items from the shopping list independently; the Designer does not handle purchasing or returns.
Designer Responsibilities:
4.4. Provide a thoughtful and tailored design based on the information provided by the Client.
4.5. Source furniture, decor, and materials from reputable suppliers and include necessary details in the shopping list.
5. Limitations of Service
5.1. The Designer is not liable for:
Inaccurate measurements provided by the Client.
Product availability, price changes, or discrepancies from third-party suppliers.
Installation, assembly, or any issues arising from products purchased by the Client.
5.2. The layout add-on is based on the dimensions provided by the Client and may require professional verification.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. All designs, mood boards, and supporting materials provided by Anekdote Design remain the intellectual property of the Designer.
6.2. Designs may not be used for any commercial purpose or reproduced without written consent from the Designer.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
7.1. Once the design process has commenced, no refunds will be issued.
7.2. If the Client cancels the service before the design process begins, a partial refund may be issued, minus administrative costs.
8. Legal Disclaimer
8.1. The E-Design Package is a consultative service. The Designer does not assume responsibility for structural or safety issues within the Client’s property.
8.2. Any construction, electrical, or plumbing changes suggested by the design must be reviewed and approved by licensed professionals.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
